Polymer Clay and Gemstone Pendant

"Khamsa" means "five fingers of the hand" in Arabic.

I made this pendant with polymer clay. I hand painted it and added stones in the
colors of the Chakra. Amethyst, Lapis, Amanozite, Peridot, Citrine, Carnelian, and
Garnet. Each stone represents a part of the Chakra. Plus I have added a beautiful
Amethyst crystal point into the tip of the middle finger:

Violet (Amethyst stone) = Crown - Personal identification with Infinite. Oneness with
God. Peace. Wisdom

Indigo (Lapis stone) = Third Eye - Clearing subconscious to channel intuition.
Balanced state of mind. See divine perfection in all things. Devotion.

Blue (Blue Aventurine stone) = Throat - Ability to verbalize. Expressing truth
through power of the spoken word.

Green (Peridot stone) = Heart - Release emotionally suppressed trauma. Soul/Heart
consciousness. Expressing love in action.

Yellow (Citrine stone) = Solar Plexus - Assimilation experience. Digestion. Positive
use of personal power. Manifest goals.

Orange (Carnelian stone) = Sacral - Utilization of creative forces into all aspects of
being. High soul procreation. Direct self toward devotion.

Red (Garnet stone) = Base - Ground spirit forces in body. Gain ability to work
lovingly on the physical plane.

The Hamsa amulet is popular throughout North Africa, and commonly used in
jewelry and wall hangings. The Hand (Khamsa), particularly the open right hand, is a
sign of protection that also represents blessings, power, and strength, and is seen as
potent in deflecting the evil eye.
It is also known as the hand of Fatima, so named to commemorate Muhammad's
daughter Fatima Zahra. Christians call it the hand of Mary, for the mother of Jesus.
Following its incorporation into Jewish tradition via its widespread use in the Islamic
world, it was also renamed the hand of Miriam for Miriam, sister of Moses.

I hand made the pendant and embellished with the gemstones listed above.  The clay
is white with details done in black paint. The finished piece was then given a clear
coat to seal in the paint. I hand painted the "Ohm" symbol on the backside. In Hindu
philosophy, the vibration created when saying the word Ohm symbolizes the
vibration of the universe.

Pendant measures 2 and 1/8 inches tall from top of bail to tip of crystal point, or 54
millimeters. The pendant measures 1 and 7/16 inches wide or 36 millimeters.
Sterling silver bail and jump ring.
Can be worn on ribbon or chain as shown.
*Ball chain shown in pictures is not included with the pendant, but a chain will be
included with this pendant.
