The Juniper Berry beads, also called "Ghost Beads" by the Navajo, are said to ward off evil spirits, bad thoughts, and bad dreams. The beads are the dried out core of juniper berries which have fallen off the tree and been hollowed out at one end by desert animals. They’re gathered by the Navajo people each spring from squirrel’s nests, and then hollowed out on the other end to make each bead. The focal point of the necklace is a beautiful Lampwork bead . It has layers of color in Green, Blues, Turqouise, and Orange, and then encased with Crystal Clear for even more depth! Necklace has a circumference of 29 inches. Total length of 18 inches.
